Rum Anima is a small family of Anima checkpoint merges produced by taking two already rather good illustrated models, LVWesternMixWC and MaturaComix v9 , putting them in the same barrel, and then introducing one of the Nano Alcohol style LoRAs until the resulting liquid becomes artistically questionable.

The basic recipe is:

LVWesternMixWC + MaturaComix v9 + Nano Alcohol style = Rum Anima

The intention is not photorealism, nor anime, nor one specific comic-book imitation. The range is aimed at strong illustrated storytelling : clear composition, expressive characters, detailed environments, good machinery, bold linework, controlled colour, and enough atmosphere to make even two pensioners baking a pie look like somebody bothered to art-direct the scene.

CatusRex's Navy Rum Anima

The house bottle.

Built around Nano Alcohol Standard , Navy Rum is the broad generalist: graphic without becoming excessively stylised, atmospheric without demanding eternal midnight, colourful without licking every object with neon.

Good for characters, landscapes, interiors, machinery, fantasy, science fiction, glamour, horror, domestic scenes and whatever peculiar thing you've decided to prompt at three in the morning.

CatusRex's Dark Rum Anima

Navy Rum after somebody turned the lights off and mentioned mortality.

Built around Nano Alcohol Dark , this version favours deep shadows, oppressive atmosphere, strong negative space and moodier lighting.

Particularly fond of gothic architecture, horror, voids, abandoned places and characters who plainly know something terrible that you don't.

CatusRex's Light Rum Anima

Same distillery. Windows opened.

Built around Nano Alcohol Bright , this version favours cleaner illumination, brighter palettes, stronger colour separation and more readable environments.

Useful when Dark Rum starts behaving as though sunlight was abolished by imperial decree.

CatusRex's Questionable Absinthe Anima

This was originally a joke.

Then it worked.

Built around Nano Alcohol Edge , Questionable Absinthe pushes spectral highlights, rim lighting and dramatic luminous edges considerably harder than a sensible general-purpose model should. If you image JJ Abrams as base model, except it doesn't ruin your favourite franchises.

It is not subtle.

It has never heard of subtle.

Use when the scene requires supernatural glow, poisonous light, spectacular silhouettes or the visual equivalent of drinking something green from an unlabelled bottle behind a railway station.

CatusRex's Single Malt Anima

This one has been left in an old wooden cask somewhere damp, forgotten about for twenty years, and subsequently discovered by an illustrator with very strong opinions about ink and crosshatching.

Built around Nano Alcohol Ink Texture , Single Malt pushes the Anima Rum family toward traditional inked illustration : heavier linework, visible hatching and cross-hatching, muted colour, sepia and charcoal tones, paper-like texture, and shadows that look drawn rather than digitally airbrushed.

It still has the same underlying scene comprehension as its drunken relatives, but tends to make everything feel a little older, rougher and more tactile.

What They Have in Common

All five share the same underlying goal: a capable Anima-based illustrated model that can actually build scenes rather than merely place an attractive person in front of decorative wallpaper.

Expect a preference for:

• strong graphic silhouettes

• expressive, readable composition

• detailed environments

• illustrated rather than photographic rendering

• confident linework

• controlled colour

• cinematic lighting

• attractive but reasonably grounded characters

• surprisingly competent machinery and hard-surface subjects

They are siblings, not five entirely unrelated checkpoints. If Navy Rum is the house blend, the others are what happens when the bartender develops opinions about the lighting.

Recommended Usage

Prompt normally. Natural-language captions work well; tags can be added when you want tighter control over specific subjects, poses or visual concepts.

Turbo-style workflows tend to increase spectacle, detail and dramatic interpretation. Non-turbo workflows often produce calmer composition and slightly more restrained illustration.

Neither is universally better. This would have been far too convenient.

Final Warning

No actual rum was harmed during training.

Several terabytes, assorted GPUs and the dignity of everyone involved were less fortunate.
